Out of curiosity, is anyone else super noncommittal about the exact height of their G/t OCs or is it just me?
s/o to when I was in high school and I was so afraid to use the word "giantess" that I instead described my +90ft tall lady OC as an "amazon"
I'm getting back into the swing of writing in my personal time (YIPPEE 🥳), but as I look back at some of my older bits of writing there's definitely some stuff that have non-canon details or characters' personalities have developed differently since then. So I'm wanting to rework some of them and update my writing's list, but I'm not sure which people would prefer to see since I know some people like the old versions and might want them archived in a section of the masterlist.
Would you prefer...
...I edit the old posts directly and just reblog saying its updated?
...or do a new post and mark the old post as "non-canon"?
sometimes coming up with ideas is straightforward. You take some time to sit down and actually outline, considering the different characters and where they're at in their respective arcs and how different elements of the world and plot can help them grow and develop other times it's when you're struggling to sleep at 2am, and the whisperings of an unseen oracle dumps esoteric lore and unnecessary worldbuilding that furthers nothing except the most self-indulgent yearnings that I as a writer have for this story and its characters, and I have to type it as quickly in my notes app while being blinded by my screen's light

It unironically feels SO nice to be writing again and like, with no stressors of "oh I HAVE to post this specific time." One day I would love to participate in challenges again and post more frequently, but right now I'm just content to spend time with my characters and their stories and watch them heal and grow ✨
