“Now, let us see here…” Oxidian looks over her clipboard and smiles to herself. “Ah yes, I remember you. My favorite subject. You’ve done so well with the last experimental dosage. Let us pick up where we left off, shall we?”

Her demeanor is cold and professional, just like her smile. From your place on the experimentation table, you watch as she puts down the clipboard and picks up a needle. She walks towards you and you feebly struggle against your binds. 

“Now, now, my dear. Cease that.” She gently admonishes you. One of her hands cups your cheek and she brushes her thumb against your cheekbone. Her smile calms you, and the next thing you know, there’s a sharp pain in the side of your arm as she injects you with whatever was in the needle.
