Vere Harmsworth Library
Most modern out of the six libraries I’ve been to in the past six weeks. I love how quiet it was: complelely silent except for the clicking of keyboards. It’s not the largest library, but it is very spacious, with few people (especially when compared to the Rad Cam, which is always packed), and has a very comfortable atomosphere. Lighting is superb, and the individual workstations make it very easy to focus undisturbed. Only downside is that it’s a bit far (twenty minute walk).
Location: opposite the Chemistry department on South Parks Road
Best for cloudy days during daytime.
