Okay, so Gus, let's focus on Gus somehow. He was kinda done dirty sharing the episode with the lesbians, tbh.
That being said, his illusion attack was so cool and fucked up, I can't help applaud his side of the story. It had to work hard to make it's memorable considering what he was up against, and they succeeded. The Glandus kids are terrible, they'll most likely show up again.
But that LuzAmity story, GODDAMN! It's not just the shipping, it's this whole story about like, dealing with love at that age was so goddamn impactful.
I have to say, I love that Luz gave every opportunity for them to back out of that situation and it's Amity's drive that drove them deeper into getting into trouble. The episode more became about change at that point, about Amity dealing with just this, new thing in her life that is fantastic but, scary and I just, love the writing there.
God, I wish I could stick with Owl House, but She-Ra is leaving Netflix in February and we REALLY need to finish that. So uh, next time She-Ra. Probably Friday assuming the D&D fantasies don't keep me up again. See ya all then!
