A Great Horned Owl peeks out from an old barn, takes one look at the world, 👀 and realizes it's Monday. Long pause. No blinking. Just the “I’m not impressed” look. 🙄 🥴

Here are two versions of an illustration, 'Racing Beneath the Stars', I made back in February. Still one of my most favourite pieces ever!! The idea came from a vision of a magical tiger that was in my head for a while and as I was looking for references of the Tiger running, owls popped into my head with the thought of the creatures having a race beneath the starry night sky with fireflies joining in. I couldn't decide between these two versions when making this, so I ended up keeping them as two alliterative options.
