Owl!cas…… pondering…. Castiowl….
He already watches you like a hawk (badumtss) but this is a whole 'nother level.
He watches you all the time, night, day, no matter what.
Until he gets more comfortable with you, then he settles in a bit.
A happy owl is a sleepy owl and even though Cas is an Angel front and foremost, the owl side takes over from time to time and he has little naps, which is the Castiowl equivalent of pure joy.
He loves taking naps next to you. He won't cuddle up (very often), he enjoys sitting near you, sometimes just close enough that your thighs brush and that's when he takes his naps, always when you're awake so he isn't leaving you unguarded while you sleep.
He loves it when he gets so tired that his head rests on your shoulder. He isn't the cuddliest being in the world but this is his favourite way to spend his days, especially if you slip your arm around his waist.
You rarely hear it, but occasionally, especially if someone is getting too close to you, he'll let out this low, whisper quiet hum that almost sounds like a hoot. It's the most adorable thing in the world.
