AS IT’S AVI’S BRAND BY NOW to arrive fashionably late, it’s safe to assume they make an appearance at roswell’s famed nightclub LONG AFTER owen’s surprise party was revealed. meaning, they’re still under the impression that area 51 is hosting a general foam party WITHOUT an actual agenda. which is fine by them — let them live in ignorant bliss as they peruse the suds covered dance floor in search of a distraction that’ll last them all night. avi more or less a few shots in by this point when their sights land on HIM. someone who’s vaguely familiar from behind. maybe even someone they met in a dream. and if that’s the case, then they’re determined to turn said dream into REALITY once avi pushes off the bar & begins weaving through the crowd of people, pinning a target on the man’s back until they’re mere centimeters behind him.  ❛ you know, last time i saw you, you were dressed in a three piece suit & honestly ... i have to say ... what you’re wearing now is doing you WAY MORE favors. ❜

florencia was NOT a drinker by any means, but there were a few people who could convince them to do it. unfortunately, alex and ali were some of those people and they happened to be the hosts of this very function. and because they were not much of a drinker, it didn’t take very much for them to be completely drunk. so here she was, on the dance floor with ali, giggling like a maniac. “i’ve already told you, i can’t dance!”

“I’M SURPRISED TO SEE YOU HERE,” owen says upon standing next to reagan. despite being lifelong friends, reagan loved to act as if she was too cool for owen. the party was only just beginning, and he’d only had one shot thus far upon his arrival. so, he couldn’t embarrass himself too much in front of the other. “you finally gonna tell me what you got me for my birthday?”

owen’s seven shots in ( or is it eight? ) and his head is spinning for a number of reasons. alex has just asked ❝ WHERE IS THE BIRTHDAY BOY? ❞ over the mic, so he’s definitely obligated to show his face. although, he does feel like he’s already seen so many people. still, he would never complain about seeing alex. he makes his way over to the stage where the dj is set up and currently bumping music, hoping that’s where alex is as well. “I’M RIGHT HERE, DUDE.”

theodora is very grateful she wasn’t asked to work this party. partially because she was now able to participate in it, but also because it seemed like a NIGHTMARE of an event to bartend. it gave her the freedom to be social, but someone standing beside her was making that quite difficult. “am i your caretaker for the night, or what? usually you ditch me the second we get to a party. what, was emilia busy or something and couldn’t make it?”

being the baby of the family definitely had its perks. for one, it meant owen received the most attention. it just wasn’t set up the same for everyone else. four people to take care of him? yeah, he definitely had it easy. whether it was true or not, he was always telling himself that his sisters preferred him over the other ( mostly as a joke ). so, it was no surprise that both of them had come out to his birthday party. “so, what do you think of my party? i almost can’t believe alex and ali put it all together.”

owen squints his eyes, trying real hard to focus on the figure in front of him. “NO WAY! do my eyes deceive me?” he walks closer, a laugh escaping his lips as he approaches ender. “i guess the rumors are true. she does exist outside of the wild pony.” owen has to admit that he’s a bit surprised she’s shown up to his birthday party. however, he’d seen a number of people he wasn’t sure he’d ever seen before, so maybe she just wandered in and had no clue it was for him. “you better be careful,” he warns. “people might start to think you like me. JUST A LITTLE BIT.”

“THERE SHE IS!” owen bellows as his eyes land on his oldest sister. he’s at least three shots deep, so he’s starting to feel a slight buzz. “the o.g. the main henderson. the first of many.” he doesn’t know what he’s talking about or what he’s even saying. “be honest, how much did you help with this whole production? foam party seems right down your alley.” he’s joking, of course. he knows that the idea of foam INSIDE a building is probably an interior designer’s worst nightmare.
