🔱 -- Daimon was bent over one of his books. Yet another crisis to avert, another end-of-days scenario to thwart. I’m too old for this shit, he thought. But Johnny came to him, and he couldn’t turn him away. After his doppelganger attacked the Agent Venom and was imprisoned in the Raft, he felt like he had to re-establish his reputation as a hero and the best exorcist in the country. Selfish? Self-serving? Maybe. But he was part-demon, he owned up to it.
He kind of regretted taking an apprentice, especially with his sister around who might try to corrupt him. Daimon started to care for the young Inhuman. He didn’t want Dante to get caught in the crossfire, so he kept him in the dark. He had his own thing going on anyway.
What Daimon needed was to unwind. Maybe he would go to a certain underground club he used to frequent, that organized orgies and the likes for him in the past. Daimon heard footsteps, and he closed the book he had been studying. “I wasn’t expecting you today,” he said, his voice deep and thick like honey. Demons were made to be seductive, the ultimate temptation for mortals. He loosened his tie and opened the top buttons of his shirt as he turned to face Dante.
