      Ahurani wasn’t sure they needed someone with her particular talents. It could draw attention; further ire from people who DIDN’T matter. ( ie. the Chantry, or other elements that focused more on the realpolitik that came with a VACUUM of power, rather than an ACTUAL problem. Like, say, the Breach. Or the darkspawn magister on the horizon. And a hundred other things that were vastly more important than who wore the ugly hat, or sat on the uglier throne. ) But all the same, despite how little she cared for the thoughts of THOSE people, it was worth the question:
