It was a dark and dreary day at Stormhaven. A blanket of fog had settled in the valley suffocating all sunlight.  It was on this misty morning that Katinka had her performance evaluation, ending her probation. Aaron and Anna would decide if the young Icelander gets to stay on full time or if her future is better suited somewhere else.  She was given the stallion Falinn, a horse she had only ridden a few times, but one that would not challenge her. After all, the evaluation was nerve wrecking enough. Her arms were stiff and it felt like you could hear her thumping heart a mile away. Mistakes were made, but Falinn, being the wonderful guy he is, compensated all her short comings and tried his best to read her intent.
