PICKS, PICKS, PICKS - Week 12
Hands down, we are coming off the best weekend of football so far this season. Hey, even the TV ratings for the NFL can back up that claim as they finally were up. Chaos is also up in College Football after the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 8th and 9th ranked teams all fell a week ago. In the NFL, there was one frantic finish after another highlighted by the Broncos thrilling win vs. Saints, Ezekiel Elliott and the Cowboys pendulum swinging 4th quarter rally at Pittsburgh and the Seahawks “upset” win in New England. Speaking of pendulum swings, Willie Jr. has found himself in a tie for first with his little brother, Donny after the best weekend of the season. Unlike the contests between the Seahawks and Cardinals and Bengals and Redskins from earlier in the season that finished in ties, we will break ours.
On the schedule this week is a makeup game between Florida and LSU with this one being moved to Baton Rouge due to Hurricane Matthew. The other two contests featuring ranked teams going head-to-head are in the Pac-12 and the Big 12, respectively. Luke Falk and Washington State battle the Buffaloes of Colorado in Boulder. That’s the 1oth ranked (College Football Playoff) Colorado Buffaloes. They hope to burn couches in Morgantown, West Virginia with Oklahoma taking on the Mountaineers in primetime. In the NFL, Dak Prescott and the Cowboys hope to extend their winning streak to nine as they welcome in Terrell Suggs and the Ravens. Also, a battle of birds will take flight in Seattle with the Eagles and Seahawks squaring off and on Monday Night it’s Viva La Mexico as the Texans and Raiders will tangle in Mexico City.
This week’s schedule will have an uphill climb trying to match the entertainment value from last week. Who do we have winning? Here are our picks.
