Sometimes life can be full of the unexpected. From visiting a new country and exploring its wondrous culture to experiencing a defining moment in your written story. I went to Sweden to chase the dream of a brand new festival, only to have that dream be hammered down to a rudimental yet completely mind blowing encounter with music and its truest lovers and pushers. To go from the customary three-day soul rinsing rage at Dekmantel and Katharsis in chaotic Amsterdam to finding the sparks of hope among young Nordic people and in the ravers that strived through all the tribulations to put together a damn good party at Out of the Factory in Stockholm, a city locked in its idealistic dreams of immunity to external discord, made me realize why I love dance music to its core. And who better to crystallize those memories than Tijana T, a magical dj from Belgrade, Serbia that I had been waiting to see for a good while.
