so the whole 'that really wasn't supposed to work' 'hail to you doctor, savior of the cybermen', having webley almost relish telling the doctor about their history and how they've upgraded themselves, when he takes over the doc he immediately goes after clara and spins around and is extremely joyful and childish and seriously given all the doctor's experiences with the cybermen, he can't be expecting that.

no but clever being in an argument/potential dangerous situation and the other person has the weapon and draws it out

so he just does the exact opposite of what is expected

and kisses them.
