9. Describe your perfect mate
Ideally, my perfect mate would be someone kind, considerate, genuine and reliable. They’d value their family and culture and faith. And they’d give me a laugh, too. I dunno, it feels weird to condense a person to a list of traits.
57. Things you want to say to an ex
I’ve never stuck around with anyone long enough to have an ex. But if I could say something to the last guy I had more than one date with… I’m sorry I ended things the way I did, you deserved a better explanation. I got nervous, but I also think it wasn’t the right fit for me. I hope you’re happy.
58. What are five ways to win your heart?
(a) Make me laugh! That’s so, SO important.
(b) Understand that my moods are fickle, and I’m not always sociable or fun. I can be really needy or really distant. [Side note: this goes hand in hand with understanding the way my mental illness can effect my mood and personality]
© Treat everyone with kindness and respect. The janitor, the waiter, the bus driver, EVERYONE. It speaks volumes about someone and their values if they’re willing to scream at a waiter over a cold dish.
(d) On a similar note, respect and care for your family. I know that not everyone has a good relationship with their parents/family, so this one is a bit more conditional. I just hate people who think they can call their parents and grandparents bad names. I’m guilty of being a bit flippant, but I can’t imagine talking to my parents that way.
(e) Have passion for something. Have a purpose. You don’t have to know everything right now, but idk… it’s nice to see someone who genuinely loves something.
OH MY GOD I’m long winded, lol. If you haven’t fallen asleep yet, thank you so much for asking!
