21. Your character has been granted 3 wishes; what would they wish for and why?
First, Gabriel would wish to get through this alive. He has played the game and won every time, but nothing in his life has ever been a guarantee. The desperate ache for some type of survival, a desire far too instinctual to understand, fuels every action, every thought, every wish.
Gabriel longs for a home - something he has been denied in every life. Home is not the rolling hills of Norway nor is it the comfort of his bed. Home is something that has evaded Gabriel in every circumstance.
Lastly, Gabriel would wish for more wishes of course.
26. How does your character prepare for bed? Do they sleep at all or can they stay awake for days on end without trouble?
Much like his time awake, Gabriel spends the night restless. In a desperate attempt for any type of comfort, Gabriel constantly shifts positions on the bed - from back, to side, to stomach, to side - until he is satisfied. However, thoughts, constantly pushed to the back of his mind, occasionally threaten to surface when the shadows of the night invade the quiet room. The silence sits like a heavy weight on his chest, drowning him with the contents of his mind. Regrets slowly seep beneath the rotted barrier to creep into his lungs, making his breath catch against the stagnant air of his room and choke beneath the pressure of what should have been. These nights are the worst but thankfully they remain few and far between.
