bites her on the cheek
Something is wrong. If not for the fact that Deidre can practically feel Iako's gaze burrowing through her skull, then for the additional fact that Iako is quiet at all. For once, she almost comes off as contemplative. That alone is enough to draw some concern—she wasn't aware Iako knew how to think.
Although, judging by the way Iako appears to let impulse take her over and compels her to sink her her teeth into Deidre's cheek, maybe the assumption that she doesn't use her head isn't too far off.
Yelping indignantly, Deidre swats at the other's head and sinks her nails into Iako's jaw to pry her off. She takes one step back, then another to drive more distance between them, and while one hand curls into a fist at her side, the other lifts to cradle her cheek against her palm. Between the layers of skin, the familiar feeling of blood begins to pool, and Deidre grits her teeth at the feeling. It won't take much to heal a small inconvenience like this, but damn Iako for giving her another reason to use her Vision.
...And damn her a second time for the flush that dares to spread itself across Deidre's cheeks once she spares a thought too many about what's just happened. Or how much worse it could have been. ( Why are her teeth that sharp...? )
"What is wrong with you? Must you act like a barbarian every second of the day?! Oh, my gosh, Barbatos give me patience..." If they grant her strength, she may misuse it.
