I love how luz, hunter, and eda are all canonically bi and they mirror the wide spectrum of the sexuality. like one is with the same gender (lumity), one is with the opposite gender (huntlow), and one is with someone that’s nonbinary (raeda), and theyre all still bi. and on top of that they're known for saying “byeeee” the most.
i'll just be staring at the wall and then i remember that Eda was FULLY READY to sacrifice herself in order to help stop Belos's plan and die alongside Raine, and that the only reason she DIDN'T was because Raine accidentally found out that that Eda had kids (AND A GENUINE REASON TO LIVE) and sent her back to support & protect them, not only pushing her to back to safety but JUSTIFYING EDA'S DOUBTS OF HER IMPORTANCE IN LUZ AND KING'S LIVES...... and THEN, when it became time for the both of them to actually fight during the day of unity, it was Eda's kids (luz and king my beloveds) who made sure that Raine would support & PROTECT Eda with all that they could, AND FINALLY in the end it was RAINE, EDA, KING, AND LUZ who ended up STOMPING BELOS TO DEATH. (im sobbing i love them all so much)
im relistening to eda’s requiem/raine’s rhapsody, and i just came up with this: eda (who's usually much more bold and chaotic) played the lute (a much quieter, peaceful instrument in comparison to raine's violin) and it makes me sob because the softness of the lute helps reflect on how much sadness, pain, and regret she’s been carrying. all of her emotional scars have been weighing down on her, like her curse + the burden that it’s left on her loved ones.
