What are their parallels, whether in their personalities or their histories?

Heya, Mytho! Funny thing; the first thing I did when I saw you show up in my ask box was open your blog to see if you had reblogged this prompt list. I would love to send you one or two questions from it if you're in the mood! Severia x Nero was one of the first wolships I personally became a fan of!

As for the questions, it was Tataru who felt romantic feelings first. It was an idle thing at first; he was just a handsome new Scion, and Tataru tried flirting with him once or twice. Johnny didn't really notice she was flirting and was crushing on Minfilia at the time, so nothing came of it.

They became extremely close platonically over the course of of Heavensward, and by the end of the Four Lords quest in Stormblood, neither of them would hesitate in naming the other as their best friend. Tataru, out of respect for his lingering feelings about Minfilia, did not press romantic matters again with him until post-SHB. I wouldn't say she was actually "in love" with him until a short time after they started dating, since beforehand she had been content just being friends. Her feelings did quickly turn to the same shade and magnitude as Johnny's, lucky for them both.

Despite their vastly different character archetypes, the two do have a few notable parallels! They were both poor kids from Thanalan, and both were born under Nald'thal's guardianship, which is appropriate given the Traders are the patron of both merchants and black mages. They were born less than two weeks apart as well.

They both have an affinity for cute animals (something they share with their daughter Beruru as well). Perhaps their most obvious parallel though is that in both of their cases, their most recognizable character trait is found on the top of their head!

Ellie's style definitely has a lot of variety, ranging from something more traditional to like kimono and yukata (usually for very special occasions/formal meetings when she is visiting her old home), but her more flashy attire definitely hit the more gothic aesthetic. Something like this is what she'd wear going to a semi-casual event, seeing as it has a lot of flowy elements but still retains a bit of the sexy feel with the short 'dress' and tights with garters.

Coming right up! I thought about giving her an irked facial expression, but I did a similar one to that a while ago, so I opted to make this one of them being silly out in the Mor Dhona market.

I tend to gravitate towards cute characters, and well. You can see how I ended up where I did LOL. She has this unique animation where raises both her arms and hops to try to get your attention that is just the most adorable thing in the game, and I think that was the first domino. You can see her do it by talking to her in the Rising Stones post-EW.

It's not just that she's cute though; I think Tataru has a lot of chemistry with the WoL. She gets some of the most screen time of any female character, and she's also one of the only beacons of positivity through the depressing grayscale that is Heavensward. A majority of the scenes she's involved in are the goofier comic relief type, which I enjoy quite a lot as I frequently imagine Johnny as a comic relief character as well. The Four Lords quest line in Stormblood was one of my absolute favorites.

I was trying to think of a fun response for my muses and I realize a lot of them don’t actually care all too much about romantic holidays. Most of them would rather celebrate more personal dates related to their relationship. Like anniversaries!

But one character comes to mind: Yumi. She would probably be one of those people who expect something glamorous for Valentione’s if she is dating someone. Honestly, gifts from friends too. She’s very greedy about it, but she would also give out presents for it.
