Felt a bit nostalgic for an old JRPG-esque party I'd sketched back in college. Tried drawing one of the party members:
Lukus Dumont. 22 years old, a graduate student in political science, and the black mage of the party. At 6'3" and 250 pounds, he is the largest and most physically imposing member of the party ... but a lifetime of bullying by his older brothers has left him psychologically incapable of getting into a fight. He studies elemental magic as a hobby, defending himself with potent spells and telekinetic knives.
You can probably see the ways that his background eventually filtered into Justin's. Lukus was even secretly a prince, too - Gou Ren, youngest son of the Chief of Chiefs of the Lokahru wolf-men, taking human form with an amulet that he kept hidden under his clothes. This played into his outfit; he always unconsciously felt cold due to the lack of fur, so he would dress more warmly than the others.
