While I do love Masks/Blindfolds/Faceless/Helmet characters. (Especially when it comes to girls.)

Giving her a humanoid face creates this sense of... Familiarity? We automatically associate her with our emotions, our feelings, the way we exist, and so on. So, when you see that she lacks some core elements, it makes her more odd than an alien character who’s completely detached from humans. If you take away her face, you detach feelings people may have towards a character.

In my creating her though, the idea of her taking the form of the apex predator on a particular planet in attempts to find the perfect life-form for her to copy sounds neat.

I could try to come up with some other bullshit reasons, but I just like girls and I think her having a face is nice. That’s about it. Sometimes an abstract picture is just an abstract picture.

This is a more proper concept of Osmosium that I found.

If I ever did a story about her, it’d be something akin to a Godzilla movie where Godzilla is the only monster. She wreaks havoc and destruction and humanity does it’s best to stop her only, in her story, they can’t.

A good ending simply can’t exist with her. It’d be a story about her deconstruction of the world and humanity’s efforts in accepting, denying, and fighting against it hopelessly.
