It was crowded, stuffy, & the hostesses were snooty, not welcoming. When our food arrived, we had to remind our waiter about the bacon appetizer that we ordered, but had not received. I asked for no dairy due to allergies, which was not an issue, as all that needed to be done was to hold a sauce thats typically served on the salmon, but then when the waiter stopped during our meal to check in on us, they felt the need to tell us about their food allergies & reactions to the allergies, while we were trying to enjoy our meal. As the waiter stood their talking to us, another waiter bumped my partners arm & our table, trying to walk between the tables that were terribly cramed too close together, so the place didnt just feel cramped, but was. Poor floor planning. This bumping of arm & table continued through our entire meal. Now maybe these things could have been somewhat alleviated had the food been anywhere close to its reputation, but as anybody could guess, this place is expensive AF, & the garnishes were shit. My partner is an absolute potato lover & was sorely disappointed with the mashed potatoes. My garnish was some kinda corn something or other. I think its just bad manners & cheap to serve corn garnish in dishes that do not demand it, that r gourmet. On a positive note, we both like the meat in our dish, but to be honest, maybe its the sauce that makes the salmon here because w/o it wasnt discernable from salmon dishes at any other restaurant. Honestly, we usually wouldnt b as disappointed in this dining experience as we were had the bar of expectation been set so high by its reputation.
