୭⋆˚⊹𐂯 Welcome to my blog! 𐂯⊹˚⋆୭
Hiya! This blog is rather new, and I’m bad at intros but here’s my shot. My name is Oslo, but I occasionally go by Bones too. I am nonbinary and a user of microlabels, though I won’t specify them unless asked. I am also neurodivergent, though I will not list what disorders I have since this is a public online blog. Feel free to ask stuff about my gender and sexuality though, I’m chill with sharing experiences and the like but it’s not my priority.
My pronouns are as follows:
He/him (I am impartial, feel free to use it, sometimes I enjoy it, sometimes I simply don’t mind. Do not use it just because you don't want to use they/them or neos.)
Os/Ossums/Osself (bones, not the slang word)
This blog is for, basically, anything LGBTQ+.
Namely, I'm up for asks about neopronouns, what labels mean, requests for finding labels, name suggestions, asks that detail lgbtq+ experiences, and requests for neopronouns. Apologies for the bolding ahead, it makes it easier to read for me. I’m starting out with mostly only 3rd person pronouns as I am not knowledgeable enough for others, but others may be opened up to in the future. Idm other kinds of asks if it fits within my theme.
Anon and non-anon asks are welcome, every ask will be replied to and posted so long as it isn’t bigoted and doesn’t cross my boundaries, feel free to ask for any theme of pronoun (including media). I’m gonna try and keep this updated and asks replied to but I do tend to grow inactive periodically because of life, but I always pick things back up.
Feel free to rant in my asks, just keep in mind they’ll be posted. Specify at the end if you want commentary or not. I’m chill commenting on the world and LGBTQ+ experiences if it’s desired. I’m not the best at comfort though. Additionally feel free to ask about queer history, just know I’ll research whatever I’m asked about that I don’t know, and I am not an expert.
This is intended to be a safe space for: LGBTQ+ individuals as a whole. Including users of neopronouns, furries, therians, TBA
TYPES OF NEOPRONOUNS – information
Please specify which of these you want when requesting neopronouns. These are categories I’m aware of and information regarding them. If you do not specify one, I’ll include ones for all of them based on the request. You can ask for multiple categories as well. LMK what I’m missing and it will be researched and added.
Neopronouns are third-person ones created as alternatives to he, she, or they. Examples would be ze/zir, xe/xem, etcetera. There are subcategories or related things within this term, and it acts as a sort of umbrella term, meaning ‘new pronouns’.
Nounself Pronouns: A type of neopronoun derived from pre-existing nouns (like animals, objects, or concepts) rather than traditional pronoun roots. An example would be cat/catself.
Xenopronouns: Xeno means foreign/other/alien. Hypothetical pronouns humans are not capable of communicating. These are different from nounself pronouns, as nounself pronouns can be communicated through human language and xenos cannot. Examples of xenopronouns are – the sound of rain, or the feeling of tree bark, or songs. Typically, unable to expressed with words, unlike nounself pronouns.
Emojipronouns: Online text only pronouns, a type of neopronoun where, like the name suggests, an emoji replaces a traditional pronoun. Example of this – ⭐/⭐’s/⭐self.
Aliuspronoun – Type of neopronoun. Aliuspronouns mimic the grammatical structure and sound of the traditional English pronouns, rather than being derived from words, objects, concepts, etc. Examples of this are – e/em, ze/zir, xe/xem, etc.
Exipronouns – Not taking requests for these, just putting this here for general knowledge purposes. They’re existing pronoun sets of a language. English exipronouns are as follows – She/her, he/him, they/them, it/its.
If I interact with someone on my DNI list its highly likely it's by accident. Idrc if these people interact with me per se, I just don't want to argue most of the time and these are what I'd rather avoid.
DNI (do not interact with me) –
Bigots (People who have a strong and unfair dislike or hatred for others. Includes transphobes, racist people, homophobes, sexists, religious discrimination, ableism, etc).
People who think trans and gay people are automatically mentally ill
People who are anti-systems (plurality) and do not respect systems
People who are anti-regression (age regression, pet regression, age dreaming, pet dreaming)
People who are anti-alterhumanity (Anti otherkin, therian, otherhearted, fictionkin, otherlink, copinglink)
People who are anti-furry (I see no issues with furries and am not fond of the misconceptions)
People who push their religion onto others (Yes saying “jesus loves you” on unrelated videos and posts and saying “it was God’s will” to a person who experienced something bad counts. Personally I appreciate the thought behind it but I do not follow God or Jesus and am not fond of people who push those beliefs and others onto people who do not want it)
People who immediately infantilize certain disorders (EX: baby talking people with autism after finding out they have it. Do not be ableist in my blog)
Exclusionists (I personally believe microlabels belong under the LGBTQ+ umbrella and am not fond of people who exclude others from the community)
People who demonize mental illnesses/disorders (EX: assuming schizophrenic people are violent, villainizing people with BPD or NPD)
People who assume all people who experience paraphelia commit crimes (They do not, they are demonized by society but not everyone acts on urges)
People who support people who act on the paraphelia they experience (I don’t support acting on pedophilia, zoophilia, and things of that nature. I don’t support sex crimes as a whole.)
Things to watch out for, for your DNI –
I am one of those people who believe that, as people of the LGBTQ+ community, we should not be bigots. As such, I do not inherently dislike groups for who they are, unless it is a group of bigots. I do not discriminate against people.
I believe gender and AGAB do not equal pronouns. I will wait until I am told a person's pronouns before referring to them with any, and if given multiple sets, I automatically vary which I use unless told to do otherwise. I also don’t like asking for people’s birthgenders and I personally will not.
You can probably glean what I’m chill with and what I don’t support based on my DNIs lol
Generally not allowed near this blog –
Slur usage, I don’t want to see slurs.
Here's to hoping this is comprehensible, I wrote it at like 9pm-1am lmao.
I enjoy education, wooo. I enjoy doing the educating and I enjoy being educated (in a nice way, do not be condescending I am a huge fan of the lovely block button)
I don’t take sexual/suggestive asks, for my own comfort. This does not apply to sexuality based asks I just mean NSFW ones.
I only speak English spoken-language-wise so this blog will only be English based for the foreseeable future.
Thinking about separating the categories here into cards or different posts for ease of reading since I know my brain collapses at long posts, TBA
I use tonetags infrequently. If you wish, add a note at the end of asks stating tonetags preferred/required, no tonetags needed, etc. I want people to be comfortable.
Gonna add a general card too featuring my hobbies and fandoms at some point too so y’all can tell which fandoms I’m in and will have more knowledge of
LMK if anything, genuinely, I say is outdated, wrong, or insensitive, it is never on purpose and I try to do my due diligence.
I’ll add TWs/CWs to my post as needed and put a cut under them
This is gonna be active everytime I get asks or have something to post, hopefully it will never die. If it is inactive I’m either busy or it isn’t actually inactive and I just have nothing to post.
Sometimes I’m very hyper, sometimes I’m very tired, and I’m an infrequent user of caps.
Feel free to suggest additions to this post idm
Specific tags for types of posts im making will eventually be added here
I'm probably just gonna be reblogging and posting lists of neos unless I get an ask
