Since I won that Osight and Olight Instagram giveaway, I didn't waste any time shopping for something to mount my winnings to!
It didn't take long for me to find the Canik Arms SFX Rival-S 9mm. Eric at the Gettysburg Trading Post put it in my hands, and it was only a couple days before I was right back there to make the purchase!
It's a great package that comes in a very sturdy, lockable case. It comes with two magazines, with aluminum base plates to be installed. There is a mag-well flare, for speedy tactical reloads. It also comes with three different grip choices, although I already ordered the rosewood grip in medium, courtesy of my lovely girl, Tiffany!
In the second foam layer at the bottom of the case, it comes with cleaning supplies, a speed loader, optics adaptor plates for just about any optics footprint, and a holster, although it is right-handed only.
Also important to mention (especially for me) the Canik has ambidextrous slide releases and indexing points. And the magazine release catch was easily reversible for left-handed operation.
Of course I mounted my giveaway winnings right away. So here she is, the Canik SFX Rivel-S 9mm with Osight XR optic and Olight PL-X light. A five-inch barrel and full steel lower frame: She is a true combat sidearm!
