I waited through the whole show and it was long.. very long thanks to the millions of commercials.. lol, This year was an amazing turn of events but, this win was what I waited for. I was terrified to watch Joker for weeks, I knew it was going to be dark and while I love DC Comics I didnโt know if I was ready to see Joaquinโs performance as him. When I finally saw it I was blown away, a truly remarkable performance and a story set apart from many of the cliches filling the theaters these past few years. Imaginative and dark storytelling that kept me engaged the entire time and Iโm so happy Joaquin Phoenix was recognized for his magnificent performance and achievement.
