It occurred to me then that this form of imperceptible doubling, tripling, multiplying, that claimed no prime, was preferable. You will notice the ‘I’s belong to the institution, and all slippages in names, all the ‘we’s that make up schizophrenic utterance belong to the degenerate R. Names are always to the power: R.1,2,3,etc. – yet while we recognize the attempt at new names ridiculous, ‘Apple’ etc., we refuse to acknowledge the powers of the names, claim first place to the finish. Only Royalty and Americans do properly: W.II,III,Junior,etc. I would have preferred to discuss here only R.s but the W.R. led me to the W.F. and this sort of natural outgrowth cannot be quashed.
