Today and yesterday were pretty ick, so I decided to do a little something for myself and colored these two cuties. Works out anyways, since I’d like to check that these pass with lesser tendril gems. The field mouse is a design I sold to The Crystal Gems (#5181) but they were ok with me having one use for myself. The canine is going to be sold on my design sales thread as premades if this guy passes ok.
Tried out a new way of shading today and omg it cut down my shading time by at least 75%. It’s also way more fun than my normal way so my brain can manage three or more pets in a day rather than one. I think I like the look of my normal shading style better, but as it’s crazy labor intensive I think I’ll save it for special customs and start using this kind of shading for normal stuff.
