We’re finally back from a much-needed break from life! I pretty much fell on my face on top of the grindstone, so my nose will be pressed to it in my cave for the next several days. . . As a side musing, there’s just nothing quite like sitting amongst the trees in the middle of a thunderstorm and listening to the chirps of cicadas and crickets. It’s a nice reminder that there’s always something sitting in the trees, listening and watching over everything from a different perspective. It reminds me of something I can’t manage to forget now— the fact that perspective is everything in life. If you’re having difficulty understanding something, try taking a moment to lay on the floor and then just look up at the ceiling. It’s amazing the things you’ll see when you do— things that were right in front of your nose the whole time seem to literally leap out of the walls. .
