Hi, yesterday I received a chat message from a mutual that hadn't posted for a few years... This is how that went:

I was working at the time, and would take it up with Tumblr Staff after I returned home, but when I did, this account was gone. They hadn't blocked me, or anything of that. It was gone. I contacted Tumblr and got a pretty much standard reply:
Clear enough. If someone is telling you that you have been (falsely) reported, they are trying to scam you. I'm sure you're not a person that would step outside the lines and you're not on Tumblr to hurt others. 9999.99999% when something like this happens, it's a phishing scam. Do not reply to it and report it. Done. Finita. Basta.
