Feeling the mommy pride today. One of the things I decided about 11 years ago is I wanted to raise children who believed what they felt was authentic to them when it came to their spiritual life. So I started encouraging them to ask questions and try new ways of thinking, even if I didn't understand or believe that way. I was talking to one of my kiddos and realized that I have raised 2 adults one almost adult and each one of them have embraced a spiritual practice that is their own. We have 3 very different belief systems Spiritual, Buddhist, and Christian yet every single one of them respects the other for what they believe and none of them believes the other is going to hell because none of them believe in hell. There are a lot of days when I wonder if I have done enough as a mom but when I get these talks I realize they are perfect.
