Holly looked bored despite the chaos around her. She'd just been here to get a few things for her latest sewing project when all of a sudden the monster started ravaging the shopping mall. People were running, screaming, and all the while, she was scrolling through her phone unimpressed.

It wasn't until it set fire to her favorite fabric store that she started paying attention.

A quick swipe of her finger on her phone and the belt materializes, a little gaudy for her taste, but she hadn't been able to design it. It was just given to her, and there wasn't a day that went by that she didn't regret accepting it. Striking a flashy pose, holding up the module, she gives it a quick press.

[ SEED ACTIVE ]

Then she slots it, the driver glowing to life.

"Henshin."

The command is called, and she explodes in bright purple light, the bud of a flower engulfing her form before blooming and revealing the Kamen Rider within. Armor accented in purple and white, again not her style, lavender scarf blowing back from the sudden surge of power.

@orderbourne sent: Somehow, the night had gone by without a hitch. Sure, Eira had worn an outfit that wasn't exactly optimal for a bike ride, but that was the most minor of setbacks. The park had more than it's fair share of activities and games to participate in and the atmosphere was lively, if not a bit hectic for Jin's usual tastes. The further the night came along, the more a crowd had begun to form in anticipation of the fireworks. As the clock struck 11:59, the countdown had begun and the chanting of the sizable crowd with it (although Jin was moreso mouthing along than actually participating). Finally, as the clock struck 12:00, the group had exploded into an array of claps, cheers and proclamations of "happy new year", as well as the literal explosions of color bursting in the sky. While the sight was beautiful, Jin felt his gaze shift down towards his companion, her face illuminated in reds, greens and blues. More than anything, he couldn't help but wonder what she was feeling in the moment...

There's a nostalgia to the night. It's not the same as what calls to mind, of course. But there were remnants. Small sparks like stars in the sky. Collecting together with trace lines to make that constellation from when they had visited the festival together that time before. How long ago was it? For the moment, she doesn't bother to recall.

It's what's different, that strikes Eira. Jin had invited her for the occasion. Been forward about it, at that. A circumstance that has the woman feeling no small amount of giddiness. Thrill. Anticipation. And now they were standing together, eyes up to the sky rather than down on some silly games. Not that she didn't like them, but... that's hardly the point, here!

She's waiting. For something to happen. If Jin had invited her out surely it was going to lead to something, right? It's bad for her to get her hopes up. To make a mountain out of the molehill. But with Jin, didn't you have to? For all the man's emotion and personality if you didn't try to read some kind of inference it was as though asking for stagnation.

The clock strikes, the fireworks pop, and the cheers ring out for the beginning of another new year. Eira turns her head, having finished yelling out the well wishes in a sing-song voice. With her next breath, lips part as she blinks in near astonishment. He's staring at her. And she's waiting. For what, she does and doesn't know. But his hand had been taken by hers at some point, she realizes. Rather than releasing her grip on this discovery, she curls her fingers more securely, blinking upward.

There is a certain unease she feels walking alone at night. It's not that she's afraid of the fark per say, but the wind howling tonight was not making it any easier to sleep, "Ugh, Ivy what are you doing. There's nothing out here..." She muttered to herself incredulously. Ivy had convinced herself she'd heard a rattling or a tapping sound and had mustered up the courage to investigate.

She is regretting this now. Deeply.

When you're writing replies to Jin and Eira back-to-back, and Sonia's interacting with two stubborn muses who don't want to talk about their families and think she's ridiculous and/or a bad influence.

If these took place in the same universe, Sonia would be the biggest Jin/Eira shipper. She tries not to be a matchmaker (unlike some muses she'll meet soon. Yes, I'm talking about one in particular), but sometimes she can't resist.

@orderbourne​ sent: "So...how are things with the wife and kid?" The younger man breaks the silence, giving his the older man a side glance. Jin wasn't usually one for small talk, but considering just how long this drive would be until they got to the home of their current suspect, he'd be willing to partake in just a bit of it.

"You're daughter's name was...Seina, right?" Or was it Sera? He was always so forgetful with names...  

The drive was far from solemn. There’s no dark curtain hanging over the pair as the traffic ridden straights of downtown Tokyo slowly yield their way for progress. Wylan for better or worse is content in his own world for the moment. A dangerous place to be sure, but one would think that this would offer a rare respite to the younger agent. Apparently that wasn’t the case. Snapping back to full focus, viridian eyes find the blond with a raised brow.

“Oh, are you curious? Wondering what it’s like after the knot’s tied?” A small chuckle, moment taken to focus on the road as he makes an awkward right turn. “Things are a little slower, in a lot of ways. Not stagnant but different enough it begs mentioning. Both uh.. I mean like both before and after the wedding, and before and after Seina learned how to not scream at three in the morning. Life’s kinda like eh uh eh uh eh uh.” Wylan says while miming a high amplitude wave with his hand.

“It’s not what I ever expected to go through. There’s thrills but a lot of it is fighting to, like, get back to a normal and when I realized that I was like what the fuck when did I ever try and do that? Turns out sleep schedules and quiet evenings are a lot more cracked up or uh- they’re good. You know what I’m saying? It feels weird being back to work too, after being on leave, but that’s another like… return to normal now!” He laughs outright then, a roll of the eyes while keeping them on the road ahead. Marching forward. Finding all these things. It’s surreal. But he wouldn’t deny he loved every bit of it.

Helped that after all these years he was still completely smitten with Sae Niijima. Having her name as his, Niijima Wylan, was another crazy bonus and appreciation and everything else.
