A delightful jam that combines the flavors of pumpkin, pineapple, and orange jello. Perfect for spreading on toast or using as a topping for desserts.
Ingredients: 2 cups pumpkin puree. 1 cup crushed pineapple. 1 package 3 oz orange jello. 2 cups sugar.
Instructions: In a large saucepan, combine the pumpkin puree and crushed pineapple. Sprinkle the orange jello powder over the mixture and stir well. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Once it boils, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes, continuing to stir. Add the sugar to the saucepan and stir until it is completely dissolved. Simmer the mixture for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until it thickens to your desired consistency, stirring frequently. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the jam cool for a few minutes. Transfer the jam to clean, sterilized jars and seal them.
