This exhibition portrays scenes from Ottawa’s original train station which was once the hub of a dirty, industrial Ottawa in a hardworking age, before it became a glistening modern capital. Well known Ottawa Artist Bhat Boy has applied his signature style of painting to this marvelous collection of works based on archival photographs. The exhibition will be held at Orange Art Gallery which is located in the former historic CN railroad bank. Built in 1909, the Old Train Station was Ottawa’s premier downtown location across from the Fairmont Château Laurier; it was closed in 1966. After the Grand Trunk Station officially opened in 1912, numerous historical arrivals and departures were recorded from the old Ottawa Train station.
