#orange fudge

1 cup pure maple syrup 1 cup coconut butter 1/4 cup almond butter 1 tsp pure vanilla extract the zest of one orange (alternatively; the zest of one lemon)

1 cup cocoa powder

2/3 cup salted roasted shelled pistachios 2/3 cup dried cranberries (alternatively; dried blueberries)

Grease an 8 x 8 inch square baking pan with coconut oil.

In a large mixing bowl, gently warm maple syrup, coconut butter, and almond butter in microwave.

Using a mixer, beat mixture until smooth and creamy.

Stir in vanilla extract and orange zest.

Gently stir in cocoa powder.

Fold in pistachios and dried cranberries.

Transfer fudge to greased baking pan. Spread out evenly. Place in fridge to chill, several hours ideally.

Cut into bars and serve.
