Friends I met at Power Morphicon!
-The crew of Riders Rangers and Rambles (RRR): Jedimon, Dosmrider and ShukuenShinobi. I've watched their toy reviews in the past and it was cool to meet them in person. They were funny, chill, and even let me join them for dinner with Mr. S and the others.
-ZeronXepher: freakin' DX King himself. I really like his reviews because in addition to the content, he put a lot into the audio-visual quality. He was pretty much Mr. S's right-hand man in running the CSToys booth. Overall great guy!
-TyphoonBang: BANG BANG! I met Typhoon in the CSToys chat, and we later found out that we're both from LA and had gone to Anime Expo. He seemed pretty level-headed in the chat so I thought he'd be nice to meet in person at PMC. And sure enough, he was. We became total Toku-bros within the first hour we met. We just had various shenanigans and some great conversations.
-Jud! The man with Mobirates! ....and the exact same birthdate as me! Down to the year! We talked a lot about Ranger keys and Mobirates and it was such a surprise meeting someone born on the exact same day as me. It's destiny that we'd meet at PMC!
-The Collector's Edge Toys Family: whenever I go to the weekly Frank & Son Collectibles Show swap meet, I always stop by their booth because they have a nice selection of toku goods at great prices (Meteor Driver for $65 anyone?). They don't list much on the website, but they have such a nice selection of Toku toys and accessories at the actual booth. Over time I had became good friends with the owner and his family members who help. Their youngest son is so mature, always shaking my hand when he sees me! They're the ones who set aside the Metallic Beet Buster key for me when he received one from the wholesaler. I didn't even request it; he just knew I would want one! <3
-Moodrink!!!! omg another Toku-bro right here! Met her and her friend on Day 2 and along with TyphoonBang, became the bestest of Toku-bros. Not only is she a great artist a toku fan, she also loves Pokemon. Not just any Pokemon, but THE POKEMON SPECIAL MANGA! AND SHE LOVES THE RUBY & SAPPHIRE ARC THE MOST, JUST LIKE ME! I foresee much more shenanigans with her and Typhoon in the days to come!
-Met someone cosplaying Karone, Power Rangers in Space Version! She was really cool to talk to, and we ran into each other a couple of times including the line for the Bulk and Skull panel. I had her pose with the MegaRed key!
-I've talked about Mr. S from CSToys International many times in my previous PMC posts, so instead here's a picture of his wife PacQueen and the rest of us who stayed behind after the hall's closing to help Mr. S pack up! PacQueen was such a nice lady; I think due to Mr. S being busy with the livestream and manning the boths, I ended up talking more with PacQueen about food and traveling XD. Looking forward to seeing more pictures and crafts from her!
-My man Zix-Art! I've seen him a few times working the artist alley in previous conventions, but PMC is when I really got chat and spend time with him. His art is pretty awesome and he's generally a cool guy to hang out with. He also screened Gokaiger on his laptop for little kids to watch! Love his Narumi Soukichi cosplay btw!
-Oracle01: I was in line for the Bulk and Skull panel with her and a Eric (Time Force) cosplayer. I really love her Marah/Furabijo cosplay! I had the Eric pose with the Time Fire then Time Red keys, and I just had to have Oracle hold all the Hurricanger ranger keys!
I met many more people but can't fit them all in this post or I don't have your pictures! Sorry if I left you out but it really was a pleasure meeting everyone!
