Emily Farris - Special Events Coordinator
As the Special Events Coordinator for Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, I have come to love many aspects of this job. Being new to the staff this year has been an eye opening experience. Seeing the effort and dedication amongst the ASO staff and musicians is what motivates me every day. My favorite part of this job is not only learning new things from my ASO coworkers, but hearing the stories and words of appreciation from our patrons after every concert. Their genuine appreciation for what this organization does statewide is overwhelming. Every week there are new and exciting things to work on to prepare for concerts, patrons, Opus Ball, and donor appreciation events. At every event, whether it is Intermission Club, Major Donor Dinner, Adopt a Musician, and even golf carting guests to their cars after concerts, I have had the honor of meeting new people that are committed to the ASO. I am very thankful to be involved with such an amazing group of people, and look forward to more amazing concerts and organizing events in the upcoming season.
