8, 10, and 45 for the writer's ask thing!
8. what time are you most productive?
Oh my god, definitely at night. Iâm the worldâs biggest night owl and I get the majority of my work done between 11pm and 3am. Itâs just a sad commentary on my sleeping habits. Iâm pretty sure everyone who has been on a Discord chat with me knows for a fact I never sleep and thatâs mainly because my brain goes into overdrive when normal people like to sleep. Itâs irritating especially when I get an idea that I have to âwalk offâ aka Iâm so excited about it that I need to expel energy and I just look like a weirdo walking around in the middle of the night.
10. how do you do your researches?
Iâm on the those crazy people who maps out EVERYTHING before I even begin my writing process. I need to know every single tiny little detail in order to make sure Iâm capable of painting a picture in your head exactly how I would see it. On top of that, Iâm very into authenticity which of course no reader ever cares about. I once planned an entire Top Gun AU before Lena posted hers and I knew I couldnât compete with it so I abandoned the project however I spent HOURS looking up Navy carriers in the Indian Ocean to make sure to put Killian and Robin on the same ship. I looked into the naval training at Annapolis and how long it takes to become a naval aviator. I want to say I put in like six hours of research into this fic I never wrote but this is a common theme with me. I will research the fuck out of something until I know the ins and outs of itâŚ.and then never write it.
45. share the synopsis of a story you work on that you havenât published yet
Oh god. I have so much in the WIP drawer. SO. MUCH. I have a Juke Box/Student Bar AU, I have a Law School AU thatâs dropping in August. I have five million WIPs for Little Pirates including what I consider to be a very hilarious PSA on why you shouldnât let your friends give you a tongue piercing. However, because you jived so much with this idea, Iâm gonna share my Labyrinth AU synopsis:
âHenry Mills is having a bad day. He failed a math test, got benched at a cross country meet and his girlfriend broke up with him. To add insult to the injury, heâs now grounded and forced to watch his baby brother while his mother and stepfather go out for dinner. Just when he thought things couldnât get worse, he carelessly utters eight words that change the course of evening - âI wish the Goblins would take you away.â Now, Henry venture into the Underground and team up with the trapped Sarah Wiliams in order to get his little brother back from the Goblin King.
