I picked up three new hens this morning. Two Dominique and an Orpington cross all about a year old (I was told). They have had a little bit of over loving from their roosters, and I feel like one of the  Dominique hens is under weight. The Orpington was definitely a rooster favorite, and she is molting. I’m already treating my flock for lice, so these girls are getting that treatment right off the bat. The hens are currently quarantined up with Buddy. I figure they can be spoiled with some higher protein food and snacks before we introduce them to the rest of the flock.
