Ohhhh this is a toughie I think....... (I am in a relationship with nearly half the strawhats at this point help)

I don't join the strawhats until after Water 7 so I don't get to see the dramatic and beautiful way the crew proves themselves to her. I so don't meet her for the first few weeks I'm on the ship, as I'm laid up in the infirmary and the only people I meet at first are Chopper, Sanji, and Luffy.

However! Once I am released and allowed to walk around on deck (the devil fruit I have yet to name has taken away my tail along with my ability to swim unfortunately) I do run into her and the rest of the crew. Nami and I are the first to get together because we rub each other the wrong way, and she thinks I'm arrogant and I think she's a dick. Which. Puts us in a lot of compromising situations.

However. Robin and I do not get together in the same way (this polycule is taking some major thought to navigate omfg). She's quiet and thoughtful. I think she and I spend a lot of time together, just sitting in silence because much of the crew is very loud, and im trying to process my own shit. I probably ask to borrow one of her books one day, and she just lights up because none of the other strawhats have asked her before. I think that's when I start to fall for her a little.

I think, after a while, she kisses me first. And she's a little hesitant, and feeling a little weird about it considering I've got a sex-only relationship with nami (bc to me she is an aromantic lesbian, so she's my gf but like, that way) and I'm also in love with Sanji at this point (and Robin is likely also aware that Zoro is interested in me as well (and hes also interested in Sanji)). I think her being older than us is also probably something that gives her pause. But she kisses me anyway.

And I don't think she expects me to reciprocate. Robin has a lot of guilt surrounding her interpersonal relationships, and I think that gives her low self-esteem. So, she's not even sure if I would like her in that sense, and she's afraid of offending me. Which is absolutely not the case, and she's blown away when I respond in kind (she's also so tall and tall ladies are like.... Kryptonite 2 me).............

I don't think our friendship changes much after that, we just sit a lot closer, touch a lot more, and share a bed sometimes afterwards. I think of the four I'm in a relationship with, Robin gives me the most comfort because shes so calm.
