The boys from Torque Gas Racing finished 6th at round 3 of the Mickey Thompson "SSS Winch Challenge" held on the weekend at Landcruiser Mountain Park.

A BIG congratulations goes out to the team with a 2nd place overall in the SSS Winch Challenge series.

This Superior Sponsored Race Truck uses all the Superior Engineering suspension components, including 2.5 Hydraulic bumpstops (front and rear with brace kits), 2.0 remote res shocks, Gen2 hybrid radius arms, 4340M tierod, 4340M draglink, diff braces, front diff guard, rear diff guard, rear pinion guard and more.

This event is to test each teams recovery skills and teamwork through various obstacles while under the pressure of time. All this is done on a track designed to test teams and vehicles while showcasing their skills and ingenuity to the crowd. The event runs over 10 special stages with each stage offering a variety of different environments from speed to extreme terrain. Penalties are given if safety procedures are not followed and also for various other infringements.
