Hey, do you know how tiered loot works with Skeleton Key Bosses? Currently running Borr in Grizzlehiem for the mount and pets. The wiki is telling me they drop at tier one, but tier two drops no pets/mounts.
That doesn’t seem to make sense to me. Do the higher tier bosses also drop lower tier loot, or no? I can’t seem to find an answer and figured you might have one.
From what I know, tiers go according to the overall level of the wizard in the battle. This means for tier 1, you'd want to fight Tier 1 Borr with a wizard that is in the Tier 1 levels.
My assumption is you are entering with someone (or yourself) in the 31-50 level area rather than 1-30 which is the one you need.
Tier 1 Level 1-30 Wizard
Tier 2 Level 31-50 Wizard
Tier 3 Level 51-109 Wizard
Tier 4 Level 110-170 Wizard
Someone else, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but that is my understanding of it
