Hello all, I know I havenāt made a post in forever. But these went out today! My third attempt to send out the same (š”) letter to Sheila. They kept sending it back to me saying the address didnāt exist. I tried with a new envelope this time. Also Iām sending out a Thank You card to someone who sent me a package of books! http://www.operationpaperback.org is this amazing organization that sends out books for Veterans and Active Duty. Itās been such a joy for me being a reader and my boyfriend plans to use it once he deploys. If youāve got books that youād like to donate, please look into it! Or if you know any active duty/veterans who might be interested in it, send them the link! They ship to troops who are stationed overseas as well.

With Operation Paperback, you send books in bulk to entire groups of soldiers - they request what genres. You can also send to individual veterans, veteran hospitals, and the families of deployed soldiers.
With Books for Soldiers, individual service members post their requests, and you can send one or more books that either fully or partially fulfill their requests.
Just something to think about! Imagine being stranded somewhere with nothing to read...
