📁 "Could not load Additional Singer's location . . ." MacOS
You may run into this error after updating OpenUtau or re-installing OpenUtau that will prevent the application from opening. In order to reset the singer location, head over to the OpenUtau parent folder /Users/User/Library/OpenUtau.
Here you will open the prefs.json and set the additional singer path to empty. Then save and close. Then reopen OpenUtau.
Now you can reset the singer path to the original location, and select "refresh."
Now your OpenUtau should recognize the original singer path!
This was my first test into using OpenUtau, naturally, one of the first Utauloids I tried out was Kasane Teto, and I tried to replicate the Family Guy theme song to minimal success. She kind of sounds like a swarm of bee's, but nevertheless, we all start somewhere.
Chat, is there any way to fix it if you set the wrong tempo for a UST in OpenUTAU, spent weeks tuning it in that tempo, and didn't realize it was wrong until you added the instrumental... Like is there any way to either just change the track's tempo individually, or at least copy my tuning onto another track to try to edit it to make it work, or am I just gonna have to redo it all 😭
raw mixdown of my current openutau project... tuning mayyy or may not be final, ACTUAL mixing will happen... eventually.
not Entirely sure how i feel about the tuning, llane crow's voice is actually quite natural sounding and i was trying to get her to sound more robotic lmao. something i might be able to iron out in mixing as well? the vibrato they used to simulate a shaky robot voice works really well for rei, but sounds more like natural vibrato with llane crow so i might try to do my own take on it later
anyway this is my first actual project with diffsinger and only like my second or third semi-finished openutau project so. who knows.
of course: original song by flavor foley, inst and (untuned, besides the vibrato) ustx provided by flavor foley. additional tuning by me. no actual mixing yet.

Ok so this not my usual type of post but uhm I was messing around in OpenUtau with the poopy UTAU that I made (Kuso Koe) and lowkey why does this sound good???
I'll probably try to make it sound better by maybe using another renderer or tuning it or stuff but THERE WILL PROBABLY BE MORE TO COME FOR THIS SILLY LITTLE CHORUS RIGHT HERE
workin on another Teto song (I love Teto)
guh here
