I come from a family of die hard football fanatics. My mom loves the Colts, one brother loves the Giants, another loves the Eagles and my middle brother loves the Steelers. Football has never really been my thing so I just sit along the side lines and happily munch on chips in silence.  From time to time something will stand out that sparks my interest and I will question it. On one particular Super bowl game, I canât recall which year. The camera man zoomed in on the sky box which is located way up top near the nose bleed seats.  Inside were a team of coaches with head sets on. This puzzled me, I couldnât understand why there was a need coaches for a coach so far away? What could they possibly see? I questioned my brother about this and he smugly told me. âAn aerial view gives you the full scope of the entire game. The coaches give direction to a player on the ground that he is unable to see.â Definitely an Ah ha moment for me. From time to time I have been pulled aside by what I like to call my âSky box coachesâ. I have a very small circle of friends that assist me with advice and important decisions. These folks add endless value to my team of me. When I released âPearlsâ I was told, âMake it longer, donât jump right in, here are some ideas for your marketing techniques, be careful with your page outline, margins and flush, etc.â I appreciate their honesty. It was done in a tactful manner of love and I was able to add on to the next project and grow from it.  With each release, each new venture I listen and continue to evolve.  Keep a small circle of âcoachesâ that will be honest and feed into you. A player canât grow if theyâre not receptive to being open.  Be flexible enough to know when you should switch things up. Learn to appreciate wordâs from the wise. Donât ask for advice if youâre not willing to listen⊠#hopesthoughts #hopemcgill #lifecoaches #supportsystem #outsidelookingin #lifelessons #opentolearn
