STMicroelectronics has released OpenSTLinux 6.1, which introduces support for M33-TD to enhance security for STM32 MPUs. By offloading secure boot tasks to the Cortex-M33 core, this update improves boot performance, reduces power consumption, and strengthens system integrity. The release also adds support for the STM32MP21 series, updates key software components, and introduces new power modes for the STM32MP2 family.
