"Tsk ... I did it again ... " he should've not fallen for that trick but he did. Cursed shadows! They tricked him into following a weaker one into the corner and he was trapped. At first, it didn't look bad but one of their attacks contained poison and it started to go south from there. "Yamagishi! --damn it! Is it not connecting!?"

She was hiding behind a rock. Oh, no ... a tough monster suddenly followed her as she was making her way to the next town. She could try and fight it but she is not a fool to do so. It is clearly strong and a simple merchant couldn't handle a fiend like that all alone. "Just gooo ....gooo....~"

He was unconscious on the ground. It seems like someone hit him from behind and stole the package he was carrying. What a nightmare ... the new tech in the wrong hands could be dangerous.

"Are you okay!?" defending you last minute. Though it came at a cost of him getting hit instead. "Can you stand?"

"Ow oww.. what gives, man?--whoaaa!!!" he rolls to the side, avoiding another attack from one of the rampaged copies. How should he have known there was a hole behind him, huh? he got his foot stuck there and the copy managed to strike him good, rendering him on the ground defenseless.

Dual swords in hands, and a couple of monsters dead on the ground, the man was ready for the next wave to come. Tsk, what happened? Something must've angered or scared them to come all out like this. "This is getting rather annoying at this point ..." isn't there a way to get safely from here (one that does not require the use of his chromatus because he was not feeling great.)

Even a God Eater of his experience can make a mistake, and that's just to show how human they are, still. "Ah, aaah ... can you give me a moment for a smoke break? ...No? Guess so ... sigh. (good thing I sent the others in some other direction.)"
