I was at my school’s open day today, working on school-things and answering questions, and these two are things I got done that day.
It was a lot of fun, but also pretty exhausting. We had a long row of tables, and on one side the students sat and we were working on our laptops, and on the other side we had monitors on which the people visiting could see what we were working on without us obscuring the view. This meant, however, that people in the middel weren’t all that approachable from behind that wall of screens and I sat on the side, meaning I was the first thing people saw and the easiest to speak to. And spoken to I was. But it was fun to be able to give people information and tell them about my experience at this school, so it was fine.
