My first foray into working with open bezels!
@miniaturesweethk had these cute bunny girl bezels, so I decided to make a couple Velvets. One is for me to screw up on, and the other is for my friend who really loves Velvet. Unfortunately, since this was my first time working with open bezels, I screwed up on both of them, but he gets the one that's less bad lol
I initially thought the silicone mat I bought would be enough to prevent leaking, but it wasn't. The resin leaked both out of the bezel itself and into the other chambers. You can see this in the 3rd and 4th photo of the set. Next time, I will back them with tape and see if that helps.
I really like these open bezels because they look like stained glass sun catchers, but they're much safer and easier for me to make.
