caduceus does not sell bouquets... he just sells carefully potted plants with plenty of soil... he does acknowledge that fresh cut stems of flowers have their importance - people need beauty to survive - but that’s not his jive. more of a nursery than a traditional florist. anti-lawn, but in his quietly judgmental way (you know how he is).
and then the regular setup for such aus. pumat came in to buy something to liven up his shop - he’s been told maybe get some windows, it feels very shut-in and stuffy - and he tries to support locally-owned businesses, as he owns one as well. so he sighs and chooses not to go to home depot or lowe’s despite how they are closer, and goes to the clay nursery on the edge of town.
