It was merely a question. Not everyone who holds a bow would be trained to use it- I’m certain someone with the skill you claim to possess would know that.
It’s an honour to be able to wield a bow, especially by the old standards.
If someone wanted to play at being an archer, I’m certain in the end their folly would catch them. Unless they wanted to learn and improve, in which case, even the most novice of hands could hold it proudly.
