🍁Arie van Roozendaal (Schijndel, 1929) was a postal clerk in Eindhoven and a regional dialect troubadour. In 1944 he started writing texts for his own family and acquaintances. From 1960 he also added his own melodies. Since then Van Roozendaal has written songs about all kinds of subjects, partly in Brabant dialect.

De eigenaar van het kenteken is de 80-jarige Michael Gijsberts: geboren en getogen in Geldrop en sinds 1957 woonachtig in Australië. De kentekenplaat heeft hij van z’n vrouw en kinderen gekregen, tientallen jaren geleden. Het is niet vreemd dat zijn naasten hiermee aankwamen, want Gijsberts blijkt een ware ambassadeur van het woord ‘houdoe’ te zijn.
